The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Altitude is currently available in five exterior colors including Bright White, Diamond Black, Baltic Grey, Silver Zynith, and Velvet Red. The Pentastar is mated to an 850RE 8-speed automatic transmission and is capable of towing up to 6,200 lbs. Under the hood of the Grand Cherokee L Altitude is the familiar 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 delivering 293 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. The interior also includes darkened features, like Piano Black accents, Black Suede/Leather seats, Black headliners, and a Black accent stitch on the door armrest, steering wheel, and center console armrest. Other functional features include remote start, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, wireless charging pad, adjustable height liftgate, rain-sensing wipers, a 115-volt power outlet, and third-row USB ports. The Grand Cherokee L Altitude includes all the standard equipment from the Laredo but adds 20-Inch x 8-Inch Gloss Black-colored aluminum wheels, Bridgestone Dueler H/L all-season tires, Gloss Black exterior accents and badging, roof rails, darkened headlamps and taillights, and a unique seven-slot grille. Now the new Grand Cherokee L Altitude is arriving in dealer showrooms.
The darkened packages proved to be a hit on the last generation Grand Cherokee (WK2), with over half of the Grand Cherokee’s being sold with appearance package. The Altitude package spans across several Jeep models and adds distinct Black Gloss appearance details creating a more aggressive and sporty look.
